In Queue
In central processing “In Queue” assists with organization and stringing of instruments. Instruments are then sterilized and sent up to Surgery where they are picked up as one unit and placed on the mayo stand and back table. The stringer rod is removed, the stand is then used to pass instruments to and from the field. At the end of the case the instruments are restrung and returned to Central Processing.
